A little late, bit here is my little report from this summer’s trip: For various reasons there wasn’t time for a real mountain hike this time, bit nevertheless I managed to go for a trip to the mountain Hirisjøhøgda on my way to family and friends. Much of early summer I spent waiting for the delivery of my new car. Waiting time almost nine months. In addition I was concerned about my health. It is possible that I demand too much for an eighty-year old man. The trip went to the lake Aurevann, only an hour walk from the parking lot 800 meters from my home. Last year I stayed on a little peninsula, but this time I decided on a little island in 02.09.2021he middle of the lake. It is so nice that i named it Paradise Island. Because it is so close, I could make several trips for food and equipment. Also, I was helped by my friend Arne to carry parts of my canoe for assembly.
